Trying out Law of Attraction

These days i’ve been hearing about law of attraction a lot. It says you can get what you want if you truly desire it and then there are some rules that help you get it.

Let’s jump straight to the rules and see if i can follow them maybe for a month. A month looks like enough time for a change to take place and actually be seen. Let me walk you through my routine first and without a doubt you’ll agree i need some serious changes. I have been meaning to get some things done but i just don’t seem to get around it.

A little something about my life..
I am a computer science engineer, and after graduation i didn’t take up any job because i thought this is not what i want to do and luckily my parents have been really supportive. I wanted to go into arts. 2 years has passed since i graduation and I am currently jobless, i have tried my hands on a bunch of things such as animation both 2D and 3D, trying to goto Canada for an art course to completely dropping the idea and thinking about appearing for an Indian design exam then moving on to music production, learning a DAW and finally went somewhere near to making my own song which i genuinely like. It’s still incomplete though! Being in music was my childhood dream, weirdly i never told this about anyone but that is a story for another time.

So far you get an idea i am indecisive. I want my foot in multiple areas. So i finally came around to use some rules for a change hence comes in play this law. So we’ll get into the rules without any further ado.

  1. SCRIPTING
Writing what you want. This includes anything. Good health, business, whatever you dream of wanting.
What i want is to drop 7Kg of fat within 3 months in the health department(before may 2020), I am almost touching the finish line with my first original song so i want to be done with that within a week of writing this, I want to get an admission into the top Indian B-school which is IIMs not any other. My Exam for this takes place in November end 2020. I want my own business in cosmetics so by the time i am appearing for my exam i want to have started with it by selling atleast 100 units of my product by then. This is my year, all written down.
  2. CREATIVE VISUALISATION
    a) You’re supposed to visualise in your head that you have all that you have desired for. Something like thinking about flexing your new body in that dress you wanted to wear or looking over new marketing strategies for your business in that glass office like the one Anne Hathway had for About the fit in ‘The Internship’.
    b) You’re supposed to visualise your success in third person. Like imaging you as a pap or a journalist talking about your success on it’s show. You get the idea right?
  3. DREAMBOARDING
Making a collage of sorts of all that you want. Then keeping it in front of your eyes as a reminder how badly you wanted. This procedure is supposed to be important because apparently visual memory is much stronger and powerful than written text. So make it your screensaver, post it on your wall or just keep it on the table. Whatever you prefer. I am going to make it my wallpaper on my phone and laptop.
  4. i’ll be updating it tomorrow…. because it’s late now and i have to make time to read a few pages before bed.

Unnecessary Replies.

Being in your early twenties is a difficult state of mind. Some are super social, some like to stay alone. Figuring out what you want to do ahead in life can be a big deal especially when you choose a path out of your league.

Meanwhile it takes a toll on your friendships. Old ones, especially. When you fell like someone isn’t important to you work wise you rain check fun conversations with them. I am having that experience now. I am not available for everyone right now. Not to listen to some meaningless gossip of what goes into their office or love life. Fun for me is not in the texts or long calls sitting on my sofas, it’s more of hanging out with friends when i need a break. Going out to cafes or have some street junk or maybe a one on one conversation with an interesting human in the gym.

I want to be independent and currently am dependent on my father. It’s been 2 years since i have graduated from college oh my! time sure does move fast. A year since i decided to become a music producer. It’s going great for me. I am enjoying the process of making music and melodies, i seem to have endless ideas on new songs and my songwriting is satisfactory for me. But it doesn’t bring me any money. So i am also considering alternative ways to bring home the money. This process in itself is intensive and my anxiety has been on all time high. It’s difficult, i’ll be honest and mentally draining but if i get the results the way i have in my mind, it’s worth it.

I for once forging story when i talk to someone, to someone i know i won’t be meeting again but now i feel like skipping on those

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
